We invite you to a course where we will present the secrets of an entire industry. Besides your training as authorized Fitness instructor, you will acquire fundamental knowledge in the field of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. This course introduces you to the world of fitness and teaches you how to create a functional relationship between trainer and client.
Fitness Instructor Course shows you the equation of success in training type "One on One". The course structure is developed in the direction of education and prevention of physical needs of people with whom you interact as instructor. Besides basic knowledge in anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, the focus of the course is directed to exercise introduced recently the industry: "Functional training" which is one of the most challenging and interesting movements in Fitness. The priority of this course is geared towards acquiring knowledge about the essential proximity between client and coach.

Credentials (Diplomas)

Upon graduating this course you will receive two accredited diplomas: One from the Romanian Education Ministry  and one from the European Fitness Association.

The price for this course is: 2300.00 RON

Weekend 1 1 - 2 April 2017

SATURDAY
  • Course presentation by the master trainer; students short self presentation;
  • Locomotor apparatus – bones, joints, muscles, muscle structures and contractions, type s of muscle contraction;
  • Muscle contraction and energetic pathways – many examples from sports and everyday’s life;
  • Biomecanics- terms of position and axes of the body; mechanics and levers of the human body, composition and decomposition of forces, inclined plane;
  • Biomechanics- practical workshop in small groups;
  • The cardiorespiratory system-general outline, the small and big circulation, blood vessel, heart structure;
SUNDAY
  • Questions and answers about previous topics;
  • The endocrine system- general outline, hypothalamus, pituitary front and rear, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenals;
  • Nervous system (hint)- general outilne,  central nervous system c.n.s., peripheral nervous system p.n.s;
  • Nutrition, feeding and nutrition outlines - macronutrients , glycemic index and glucose, water needs, micronutrients , energy requirements and energy balance,  indications for the construction of a nutritional plan;
  • Biomecanics and human body joints-  the hip; the knee; the ankle and foot; the shoulder; the elbow; the wrist
  • Biomechanics- practical workshop in small groups
  • Weight-body composition-physical structure- weight and health,
  • Body composition, classification and evaluation of the body and obesity, overweight

Weekend 2 8 - 9 April 2017

SATURDAY
  • Questions and answers about previous topics ; random quiz to test students;
  • Biomechanics and posture (part 1)- mechanics outline (kinematics, statics, dynamics), work and power, systems and methods for measurements , system of prevention and reduction of loads;
  • Biomechanics and posture (part 2)- posture,  training and posture;
  • Practical workshop in small groups- traing programs for correction of bad postures;
  • Basic and supplementary exercises ; free weights and machines- differences, pros and cons;
  • Practical workshop: how to teach each exercise;
  • Dummbell and barbell exercises. Practical workshop : role playing “client/trainer” in small groups;
  • Machines. Practical workshop : role playing “client/trainer” in small groups;
SUNDAY
  • Questions and answers about previous topics. Random quiz to test students ;
  • How to deal with the clients 1- communication, empathy, the anmnestic frame, motivation, follow up;
  • Practical workshop n.1: first appointment - role playing “client/trainer” in small grou;
  • Practical workshop n.2 : teaching tecniques -role playing “client/trainer” in small group;
  • Practical workshop n.3 : postural analysis -role playing “client/trainer” in small group;
  • Brainstorm and general feedbacks about practical workshop n.1-2-3: master trainer and students share their impressions and comments;
  • Basic principles of training, the 5 fitness principles. Men and women: gender differences and analogies to be considered when creating a workout program;
  • Periodization 1- the macrocycle, the meso, the microcycle, the workout unit or training session, the measurement of training ;
  • Hypertrophy- general principles, main training techniques aimed hypertrophy. Workout routines;

Weekend 3 29 - 30 April 2017

SATURDAY
  • Questions and answers about previous topics; random quiz to test students;
  • What is cardio fitness;
  • Weight loss- basic principles, scientific research, updates, training methods;
  • Teaching and technique practical workshop: role playing “client/trainer” in small groups. Performe and/or teach basic and supplementary dumbbell exercise;
  • Teaching and technique practical workshop: role playing “client/trainer” in small groups. Performe and/or teach basic and supplementary barbell  exercise;
  • Practical and theorical exercise: create a workout schedule (master trainer chooses the features of the clients and the objective of the training program). 15’ for the task + 15’ for sharing results and opinions;
  • Functional training- the theory behind f.t, f.t. principles, f.t. schools, f.t. tools. Some examples (cst, crossfit, ikff, rkc.) ;
  • Functional training- practical workshop (body weight and tools for a beginners workout);
SUNDAY
  • Questions and answers about previous topics. Random quiz to test students;
  • How to deal with the clients 2- fitness tests, goals setting, progress tracking, changing the clients’ mind respecting their live;
  • Periodization 2- creating and developing different  training programs with different goals and methodologies;
  • Practical workshop: create a training program – follow master trainer instructions – depending on the methodologies required, design a whole training cycle for your client;
  • Brainstorming and general feedbacks about the previous practical workshop: master trainer and students share their impressions and comments ;
  • Some specific areas of f.t.- coretraining and metabolic training;
  • Practical workshop- mini sample workouts : coretraining and metabolic training;
  • Professional ethics- how to be consistent and reliable, customer care and self care;

Weekend 4 6 - 7 May 2017

SAMBATA
  • Questions and answers about previous topics ; review of all the anatomy, physiology and nutrition topics- random quiz of all the students;
  • Practical workshop –examination simulations:  master tainer creates couples for role palying “teacher/students”. Each workshop will be evaluated with suggestions about what is needed to be done for a better result;
  • Stretching- theory and practical workshop;
  • Stretching practical workshop- teach, perform and supervise a mini stretching routine for a big kinetic chian or for specific muscles, according to the master trainer demands- couples for role palying “teacher/students”;
  • Functional training- theorical and practical workshop: create a sample of f.t. training program – follow master trainer instructions – depending on your virtual client features. Couples for role palying “teacher/students”;
  • Final brainstorm and questions before examination;
SUNDAY
  • Written test explaination and distribution;
  • Written test- 1h 30';
  • Written test correction;
  • Practical examinations (master trainer always tests 2 people at a time, “client and teacher”, randomly choosen between the students);

YOUR REGISTRATION TO THIS COURSE IS BINDING

You have 5 days to pay the price of the course so that you can keep your place in the course that you have chosen. The registration price is non refundable except in the case of illness or injury. In this case we will require a medical certificate from an authorized doctor. The last cancelation day in the case of illness or injury is 14 days before the course. After that the price of the course is non refundable.

In the case of illness or injury during the course or before the course, you will not be refunded but you will be offered to take the course on another suitable occasion such as the following: in the cases of injury we will be able to reschedule you in another course/ event in a maximum period of 6 months; in the case of pregnancy we will be able to reschedule you on another course/ event in a maximum period of one and a half years. We will require a medical certificate from an authorized doctor confirming your illness or injury.

Examination system

  • This course has a total of 120 hours which are divided into theoretical and practical seminars.  
  • These 120 Hours are dived into 4 seminar weekends and practical and theoretical homework between these weekends which all must be successfully completed.
  • After every weekend you will receive a test and on the last weekend you will receive a final test which will be overlooked by a representative from the Romanian Ministry of education.
  • Tests will consist of theoretical and practical elements and they must all be successfully completed so that you can receive your license.
  • Due to the succesfull affiliation of Fitness Scandinavia School to the biggest European Association, Europe Active, of which the wellknown standards system EREPS and REPS belongs to, you will benefit of the presence of your profile ( facebook or website) on EREPS site. The tax is a symbolic one, of 70 RON, which is half than you should pay if you apply directly, due to the special conditions for our school. This tax is mandatory and shall be payed only at the exam with the Ministry.
