Choosing to eat right and lead a healthy lifestyle has become an international trend. Fitness Scandinavia School wants to make sure this important branch of the fitness industry is properly covered, so we invite you to take part in the Nutritionist Technician course held in collaboration with some of the most respected tutors in Nutrition and gastro techniques: Dr. Antoinette Cretu, Cori Gramescu and Gabriela Berechet.
After graduating the 8 month course, you will be an authorized Nutrition Technician.
The Nutritionist Technician course is complex and includes a host of theoretical details created by some of the most well known specialists in the field: r. Antoinette Ms. Cretu, Mrs. Dr. Anca Popescu, Cori Gramescu nutrition specialist, Gabriela Berechet, PhD in engineering sciences and HACCP quality auditor and Gabriela Nedelea, nutritionist.
At the conclusion of the 8 month mandatory period of 16 eight hour sessions that also take place on weekends, you will be eligible to be hired as a nutritionist in the following fields: hospitals, kindergartens, after-schools, retirement homes, hotels, beauty salons, catering companies, fitness clubs and many more.
The 16 sessions take place approximately a month apart. Their format is focused on theory with a presentation of practical elements that will be useful for future technicians in their jobs.
The practical side is based on individual work: homework, presentations of projects and volunteering. There will be no individual cooking sessions and course trainers will not participate alongside pupils in centers where they volunteer. Evaluation of the practical segment of the course will be conducted through tests, homework and projects.
Volunteer centers where participants can practice must be researched by participants. Here are our recommendations:

- Public or private retirement homes
- Catering companies
- Wellness/fitness clubs
The nutrition course takes place over an 8 month period – totaling 1167 hours split into 2 mandatory methods: theory and practice. We want to help students get organized during this lengthy course therefore we suggest the following course structure:
1. THEORY: 386 hours structured as follows:
- Mandatory seminars: 96 hours
- Individual study:288 hours – 2hrs/day, 6 days/week over a 24 week period.
2. PRACTICAL: 781 hours of case study, volunteering, projects, structured as follows:
- Individual or group study (by choice):
- 5hrs/day, 6 days/week over a 16 week period
- Case studies project:
- 7hrs/day 6 days/week over a 6 week period
- Volunteer project:
- 7hrs/day, 5-7 days (more days volunteering mean more points)

Evaluation will be transparent and accurate, based on attendance records, tests, projects and mandatory homework realized within mandatory deadlines set by the course tutor.
We DO NOT guarantee entry into the final exam, presided over by members of the Ministry Commission, if course requirements have not been fulfilled.
