7th Romanian International Fitness Convention - 22-23 April 2017

COUNT-DOWN to the festival start

LIORA ZYTCER

Israel

The world knows Liora  as a group fitness instructor, aerobics or dancing.
For Liora though, the love for Yoga started many years ago when she went through the experience of a serious car accident that almost fractured her back completely. Since then, she has been studying concepts such as pilates and postural training. In spite of the fact that before the accident she was very mobile, after this tragic event she could not do anything and could not accept this situation.
As her guru has told her: "Yoga is not just about complex postures, it is something much deeper that can help you accept your body and be grateful for everything you can do with it"
Since she has changed her mind set, her body can do much more, and her heart opens to a different extent. After the 300-hour TTC in Rishikesh India, she rediscovered her body, herself, and realized she had so much to learn that she would devote herself her whole life to this teaching and continue offering in this wonderful world!
Gratitude is all we need!

Classes

Classical yoga

Saturday, 22 April - 09:00 - 10:00

Based on the Sivananda style; a traditional system of Yoga which involves the following practises: Pranayama (Breathing exercises); Kriyas (cleansing and purification of the body); Dhyana (Meditation); Savasana (Relaxation); Vinyasa of Suryanamaskara (Sun Salutation) and Asana (focusing on the 12 basic postures and their variations). Modifications are provided with a look at ways to adapt practise to suit all body types and levels of ability so that this session can be beneficial to all, regardless of fitness/ yoga experience. Though provisions are given for the more experienced practitioner, this programme also makes for a nice gentle introduction to yoga, with rest periods between postures to balance your energy and encourage recuperation.

COREX & Postural

Saturday, 22 April - 14:00 - 15:00

Everybody knows that core exercises improve your balance and stability. Core exercises train the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen everything to work in harmony. This leads to better balance and stability, whether on the playing field or in daily activities. In fact, most sports and other physical activities depend on stable core muscles. Your core provides strength and stability for the rest of your body, which is why it is important to develop these muscle groups. Aside from occasional sit-ups and pushups, however, core exercises are often neglected. Still, it pays to get your core muscles - the muscles around your trunk and pelvis in better shape.

Posture Training:

After personal problems of her own Lyora developed a Posture Training class that helps herself and her clients to continue their life with better shape and less pain. Unfortunately, few of the people exhibit good posture, let alone perfect posture. In fact, poor posture often develops so gradually that you may notice its symptoms (back and neck pain, tightness and stiffness, increased injury and losses in your normal range of motion) long before you notice your shoulders hunching over. Luckily, you can correct your posture by incorporating some simple exercises and stretches into your workout program.
