2. Full Features

Body measurement features
Automatic age-based target zone – bpm / %
To help you train safely and effectively, the training computer determines your heart rate target zone limits automatically according to your age-based maximum heart rate (220 minus age). The limits are determined either in beats per minute (bpm) or as a percentage (%) of your maximum heart rate. See also Manual target zone.
Average and maximum heart rate of training
Heart rate – bpm / %
Heart rate is the measurement of the work your heart does. Heart rate can be expressed as the number of beats per minute (bpm) or as a percentage (%) of your maximum heart rate.
HR-based target zones with visual and audible alarm
You can define your target zones for a training session based on heart rate to help define the right intensity. When you are out of the preset zones, the training computer will give a visual and audible alarm.
HRmax (user set)
Manual target zone – bpm / %
This feature enables you to define the target zone as you want and is suitable for your training. You can set the target zone for your training as beats per minute (bpm) or as a percentage of your maximum heart rate.
Polar Fitness Test
Polar Fitness Test measures your aerobic fitness at rest in just five minutes. The result, Polar OwnIndex, evaluates your maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max). With the Polar Fitness Test you can measure your aerobic fitness by yourself, automatically and without any exertion. All you need is your training computer. The Polar Fitness Test is as accurate in predicting the VO2max as any sub maximal fitness test. The test is based on heart rate and heart rate variability at rest and personal information.
Polar OwnCal® – calorie expenditure with fat percentage
Polar OwnCal calculates the number of kilocalories expended during training. This feature allows you to follow the kilocalories expended during one training session and cumulative kilocalories expended during several training sessions. This feature also estimates the fat-burning percentage (fat% on display), that is, kilocalories expended from fat during a workout which is expressed as a percentage of the total kilocalories burned.
Polar OwnCode® (5kHz) – coded transmission
Coded heart rate transmission automatically locks in a code to transmit your heart rate to the training computer. The training computer picks up your heart rate from your transmitter only. Coding prevents interference from other training computers.
Polar OwnZone® – personal heart rate zone
Polar OwnZone® determines your personal heart rate limits for a training session. Depending on the day and time, your physical state may vary, for instance, if you are stressed or tired, or if you are not fully recovered from your latest training session, Polar can determine that information from your heart rate and guide you to your ideal training zone for that moment.
Polar STAR Training Program
The adaptive and personalized Polar STAR Training Program helps you reach your training targets. The training program gives you weekly targets, including intensity and duration, for your training. The Polar STAR Training Program is based on your fitness level, activity level, training goal and personal information (weight, height, age and sex).
Training load – available via polarpersonaltrainer.com
This feature is available in Polar software. When you transfer training results from your training computer to polarpersonaltrainer.com, you can follow your training load and recovery in the training diary. Continuous monitoring of training load and recovery will help you recognize personal limits, avoid over- or undertraining, and adjust training intensity and duration according to your daily and weekly targets

Corex & Postural training workshop-module for groups

This workshop has 6 credits

COREX
Core exercises improve your balance and stability.
Core exercises train the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen to work in harmony. This leads to better balance and stability, whether on the playing field or in daily activities. In fact, most sports and other physical activities depend on stable core muscles.

Your core provides strength and stability for the rest of your body, which is why it is important to develop these muscle groups. The core does not only consists of the abdominals and transverse abdominals, better known as the abdominal muscles, but it also includes the oblique, lower-back and gluteus. A great core workout needs to address each area and from multiple angles to get a toned six-pack and a powerful midsection.

Core exercises are an important part of a well-rounded fitness program. Aside from occasional sit-ups and push-ups, however, core exercises are often neglected. Liora will teach you how to create a training for your core muscles, in order to stabilize them and to achieve better balance.

POSTURAL TRAINING
Postural training is an innovation in fitness, built from a special programme, designed to resolve all the back problems and, the most important of all, to free the clients from all the pain.
Our body is the main target in postural training! The most important thing in the training is the road we’re on, not only where we get. The important thing is to understand and do what we are doing for pleasure.
We will never be too young or too old to have the control of our own body. You just have to start the change! The body will heal itself because the cells are regenerating. We have to train The Body to create the perfect balance.
Unfortunately, only a few of us have the perfect posture and most of us have back, neck and knee pain. Only by implementing a few moves we can improve our posture and make the pain go away and you will see the body when it starts to work in its own natural way.
THE RESOURCES FOR POSTURAL TRAINING
This system is a combination from many known trainings, such as: Pilates, Yoga, Dance, Kinetotherapy, Massage.

DEFINITIONS
Correct posture is when body musculature is in a perfect alignment, so it can afford to move in an efficient way. When our body and joints are in a perfect balance and supported the way they should be, we can easily make everyday moves, without pain of too big efforts.
POSTURAL TRAINING BENEFITS:
The exercises from postural training are good for anyone, at any age and with any problem: the class develops both the balance and flexibility of the right posture, and accident prevention.
Through the alignment of the spine, we get a better posture and work on our flexibility, which helps us moving and keeping a good balance. You will learn new habits in order to keep a good posture and let the body work in an efficient way. All the joints will receive the right support and this type of training will help in a better functioning.
Your clients will feel much better, there will be no tension, tey will be more relaxed and look younger as days passes. Add to all of this a balanced nutrition and their bodies will receive numerous benefits.

What you will get
At the end of this workshop you will learn how to execute two full classes of 60 min of functional training
  • You will learn 2 functional training routines to execute for your clients.
  • Both classes will have a warm up, main class, cool-down and stretch
  • You will reaceive a DVD with both routines
  • You will receive 2 CD’s to use for both classes
  • You will receive a routine guideline for both classes
  • You will receive a workshop manual
