YOGA for scoliosis

42 years ago, I found out for the first time that I had scoliosis and I was horrified: another disease in my record at that time ... There followed years of daily medical gymnastics, but without noticeable effect. I did massages, horseback riding, yoga I knew at that time. I only managed to get rid of pain and that's what it was all right! At the age of 38, while we were waiting for a doctor with a radiography, a nurse told me that at menopause, I'll probably collapse my colon with the onset of osteoporosis. And she was sincere in her faith! It was the first time I said, I'll find a way to turn my spine right, even when I'm 50! And I did not even realize what truth I stated then! A special programme, in which I combined the techniques of stretching, physical strength and yoga, made my spine more than 70% straighter in a short time. After all, age is often only a number, and the desire to find valid ways, opens gates in the subconscious, aligned with intent. I helped dozens of people improve their posture, get rid of many pains and have positive results. The only ones I do not know how to help them are the ones with rods in the column, in which case I'm not really a specialist ... Otherwise, discopats, herniated discs and tensions in the column, yes, we work with love, especially if there is a medical endorsement.

Himalayan Hatha Yoga

This section will allow you to experience the essence and authenticity of true Hatha Yoga with Yogi Ashokananda’s signature style of Himalayan Hatha Yoga. In this joyful workshop, you will be guided through a Himalayan Hatha Yoga morning practice series, solar / surya, to create lightness, freedom and space within your body. This is an energetic practice which will explore sun salutation series, balancing and seated postures as well as incorporating bandhas (locks), mudras and elements giving you psychological as well as physical strength.
Using breath awareness within each posture, you will explore the use of the powerhouses of Himalayan Hatha Yoga.
Yogi will close the practice with a deeply restful savasana allowing your body to relax and integrate the powerful changes in your physiology and psychology that you have created through the practice.
Himalayan Hatha Yoga is one of the forms of yoga founded and taught by Yogi Ashokananda. It is based on traditional principles of yoga. A strong, yet supportive form of yoga, working through the entire body, cleansing and revitalising through special sequencing with a combination of subtle body exercise. Shunyata Experience : Neurosounds alchemy

The class will transform you into a state of relaxation, you will experience what deep meditation really means and you can reach the state of Delta, the one in which your body's cells begin self-healing.

The Shunyata state
Shunyata in Sanskrit means emptying thoughts, a state of silence, nothingness. In Buddhism it denotes the true nature of all phenomena that lack self-sufficiency and substance without attachments. In other words, that state in which you observe the events and simply assist  in their pursuit without looking for a meaning behind them. That is the state of high consciousness.

Neuroscience and sounds
The universe is sound. Everything in the universe (even our bodies) is composed of vibrations. Each organ and every cell in the body vibrates at a certain frequency. Sound and vibration travel five times faster through water. And as the human body has over 70% of water in composition, we can understand that sounds and vibrations can affect us at the cellular level.
With a systematic combination of sound frequencies, we can change our normal Beta state (the state of normal consciousness when present we are awake) or the Alpha (relaxed consciousness), the state of Theta (state of meditation) and even the Delta inner healing is produced). This kind of sound experience can help anyone who wants to have a moment of deep relaxation, enjoy the benefits of deep meditation.
About the Shunyata experience, the neurochemical alchemy, with Karma Dhondup
This intuitive experience, in itself, is an immersion in beautiful sounds and vibrations that heal the body, the mind and the spirit. It's a meditative experience that will take you on a journey of deep relaxation, healing and self-discovery. Time is suspended as you enter a universe of vibrations, sensations and experiences. Using frequencies and specific notes, chakras are cleansed, purified and energized in an open, vibrant, responsive state.

At the beginning of the class, Karma will do some short breathing techniques with the participants to help guide the energies from the mind to the inside, to a meditative state. Participants can choose to sit in a lotus or lying position.

Then there will be a meditation with sound, when the mind and the soul can relax, being aligned with a high vibration and will be in the most healthy state of existence. During this experience, everyone will have the chance to eliminate mental, emotional or physical blockages. You will experience the healing power of quartz tubes and harps, Tibetan bowls, infinity bells, gongs, shamanic drums, bells and mantras. This chakra is associated with our voice, and refers to the ability to express our truth, our ideas in a clear, authentic and profound manner, so that it is in harmony with our whole being.
When the Visudhha chakra, the throat chakra, is in imbalance, most of the time we have problems with sore throats, neck and shoulder pain, hearing problems, or jaw pain. On a  mental level, when this chakra is not aligned, we feel we cannot express ourselves properly or ask what we need, that we cannot create the world of our dreams.
We will connect our hearts with our minds through this energy center, letting their wisdom and truth float freely in our being. We will work to improve communicating our needs, our desires, our creative ideas, our limits, empathy and love.

During the 75 minute introduction class, in a space of safety and total acceptance we will experience together the TRE® process – short for Tension & Stress Releasing Exercises.
What is TRE®? TRE® is a safe and gentle somatic process (body-based) that accesses the body’s intelligence – meaning its self-organizing and self-regulation ability through tremoring or vibration.
The truth is that life is full of challenges and most of us live in an abundance of stress-factors – be it stress related to our jobs, our couple or family lives, health or financial issues, and the list can go on.
But it is also true that our organisms are perfectly equipped to deal with the various stressful situations that each of us face.
BUT for our bodies to do that, it is absolutely essential that we understand and honor the natural processes and organic rhythms of the body!
Here is where the magic of TRE® comes in, a process based on a series of recent specialized research and studies about the optimal functioning of the human organism, the Autonomic Nervous System and how to sustain a general state of well-being within your own body and in life as a whole.
Our organisms are built to successfully deal with various stressful experiences, BUT it is paramount to understand that stress represents the body’s natural short-term response to adapt to life’s unpredictability; stress is not and has never been a long term solution to dealing with life, although for many of us it has become our ‘normal way’ of functioning.
I invite you to take a moment and think of your body as a water cup from which we pour every day to quench our thirst – if we do not take a PAUSE to refill that cup, soon enough all the water resources it has will be drained, but we will keep functioning and we will survive for a little while longer with no water, until our depleted organism simply collapses.

* release the contraction patterns that no longer serve it - from muscle contraction patterns to old emotional, mental or behavior habits that do no longer support you,

During the TRE® Intro Class we will practice together a series of simple physical exercises that prepare the body by activating or stretching certain muscle groups, and we will then find our way onto the mats where we will notice the body’s vibration or tremoring mechanism is already on.


This vibration is present in all mammals, therefore in the human body as well and it is the body’s natural in-built mechanism of re-balancing itself, reorganizing itself and replenishing its resources in an organic, non-invasive way and in its own rhythm.
Through shaking, the body organically reorganizes itself and releases the stress residues – the excess of energy and muscular tension, the extra adrenaline and cortisol, and the various stress-related blockages that cause physical, emotional or behavioral problems.

The power of mantra is betrayed in the roots of the sanskrit word, man, meaning mind, and, tra, meaning deliverance, or, projection. Chanting is a pleasure that transcends the senses; it takes us beyond the bounds of time and space. Thus it soothes in a most profound way. It soothes on a cellular level. It merges our finite identity with the infinite, and so dissolves us.
Yogi Ashokananda’s Atma meditation means meditation of Self or of your soul. It will bring the power of the universe into you aligning your individual self with that of the universe and make you realise the centre of your individual reality. By experiencing this space you will create a multitude of benefits and positive developments in your life. Simona  created this class to help our backs relax, to focus on our spine, to give us the posture that makes us feel good, to feel ourselves and to bring back our body the freedom it deserves.  Because all the problems that we do not want to deal with we put on our backs,  behind we put all the daily worries, there is stress and many of the things that press such as thoughts, emotions, feelings, unfinished or unintentional sentences . Everything that scares us and many of the things we want to escape from are positioned in our back. If we are aware of our position when we do not focus on ourselves, we realize we have pains, smaller or bigger, we realize that our backs lean over, and we bend over and forget about ourselves. We stand with strained shoulders believing that we are straight, but in fact we are only accepting a posture that may not be correct but that slowly becomes a habit. This class will help you relax your back, shoulders and body.

TAI CHI

Tai Chi is derived from Chinese Martial Arts (wushu-kungfu) and is an internal battle style. Tai Chi can be practiced by anyone no matter the sex or age due to  its accessibility that results from natural movements (open door-close door or water grows-water drops) which are done in a very slow manner. WHAT WILL WE DO

A deep ritual, a process of personal development and the meditation of opening and cleaning the chakras through conscious breathing, conscious mindfulness, angel therapy, setting the list for a nutritious partner. Stay calm, even if you are already in a relationship, this process will be beneficial as it reactivates your current relationships with better and cleaner energy or at least closer to your Supreme good. Sometimes we remain anchored and incarcerated in old and toxic tired relationships, which suck the energy of new relationships that are more loving. To start a new energy we need to close old cycles through healing and forgiveness and unconditional love.
This event is a spiritual one, and your participation is your understanding that I, Andreea your guide, are not a psychologist or a psychotherapist.
At this event we do not practice yoga but we will do dynamic meditations so I invite you to wear light clothes.

Sound Journey

The soundtrack is a special incursion in which we will experience the therapeutic effects of sounds. We will begin with a simple practice of opening the body through the intonation of the mantras, and we will continue with a meditation on Gong sounds, Tibetan bowls supported by electric guitar and drones, continuous vibration buzzers.
In the Vedic and spiritual healing traditions, specific mantras sounds have been developed to create balance and harmony between the physical body, the mind, and the soul of man. In Indiana music, the melody or musical phrase never leaves and never ends in silence, but it is a natural development from a drone, that is, sound, continuous vibration that contains basic notes or sounds, fundamental harmony, measure, rhythm or tempo, and India's best known instrument is tanpura.
Every part of our body works at a certain pace and pulse, and when all our systems are balanced and matched with each other, we experience perfect harmony and health. On the other hand, any imbalance in our body can lead to mental, physical or emotional dysfunction.
Sound therapy is a very effective way to regenerate, to rejuvenate, because all cells in our body are mainly composed of water, making them excellent sound resonators!

ALIGN & FLOW

The session will gradually build up positions that will bring us intooptimal body alignment to a beneficial breathing. The positions can be approached by any student level, and aim at a connection between body and breath. We will end up with little meditation that can help us feel what we have gained, what we feel different after a yoga session.

Fluid Vinyasa Flow

Yoga for Strength&Flexibility

We will gradually and harmoniously move from basic posts to positions that require more attention and balance.
