YOGA WORKSHOP

Sunday, 1 December - 12:00 - 13:15

An open forum for the dissemination of Asana for improved practice and learning. What poses have you been working on? Which ones are you finding challenging? Let’s work together in breaking down the various aspects and developing our understanding. Not all Asana require just physical ability, some require a level of mental development while others a certain amount of spiritual enrichment. However, as all three are connected - it is still possible to reach the other aspects through the physical practice. So, whether it is something as deceptively simple as a warrior pose or as notorious as a headstand. We will approach them as we do on the FS - Indian Yoga Academy Teacher Training Course.

Postural alignment, balance and body mechanics are just a few of the movement-based skills developed in Taiji (Tai Chi) and Qigong (Chi Kung).
